Kimberly D. Laster

Kimberly Dawn Laster, 48, of Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 22, 2019. She was a United States Army Veteran an served her country well. Dawn accomplished several honors during her service including, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Badge, Grenade Marksman, Marksmanship Badge Rifle M16. Dawn was known for her beautiful compassionate spirit, infectious smile and laugh. She especially loved the beach where she found peace. Dawn had a passion for animals and those who knew her felt her love for nature and its beauty. Her greatest passion was her family and friends. Always giving to others above herself. A true servants heart. Dawn is proceeded in death by her loving mother, Lynda Lea Laster. She is survived by her dad, Harold William Laster Jr; siblings, Will Laster and Teresa, Tara Laster Sperry and Justin, Brandon Laster and Melissa, and Jason Laster. She was a caring aunt and cousin. Her nieces and nephews say she was like a second mom to them. A visitation will be held on Friday June 28th from 5pm to 7pm at Trinity Memorial in Kingsport.
