im Leslie Runion, 62, went to Heaven to watch over all of his children on Tuesday (February 3, 2015). He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching television, fishing, and camping. He was of the Baptist faith. Those in Heaven will be experiencing something those remaining here will sorely miss. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Runion. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Claudia (Blackie) Runion of the residence; two sons, Louis and wife Kim Trivette, of Kingsport, and Jamie and wife Kristie Runion of Elizabethton; ten grandchildren, Lucas Runion, Makayla Runion, Makayla Hughes, Louis Trivette, Jessie Trivette, Julea Trivette, Christine Chapman, Cas Schwandt, Cameron Schwandt, and Preston Schwandt; four great-grandchildren, Louis Trivette, Claire Trivette, Lucas Schwandt, and Harlan Chapman; one brother, Jim and wife Faye Runion; one sister, Patricia Harried; special godson, Matt (Toad) McQueen; special goddaughter, Brandie Renee McQueen; very special friend, Debbie Collins; several nieces and nephews.
