"Gone, but never forgotten." Kevin James Paul George "Noodlez", 37, of Gate City, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. "Love and Memories never Die." He was born on December 19th, 1984, in Detroit, MI. Kevin relocated to Kingsport, TN, in 2011. He then finally settled down in Gate City, VA, in 2012 and started a family. Kevin was a loving husband who took pride in his family and home. Even though his family is very dysfunctional and unique, Kevin was always very proud of them. Kevin was a fun-loving, kind, and caring man. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him. He had an eclectic hobby of collecting random items of various shapes, sizes, and uses (he was definitely a hoarder). He had a huge heart and was full of life and laughter. He always tried to put a smile on everybody's face. His greatest enjoyment of all was spending time with his family and friends. His trademark stubbornness and his larger-than-life personality will be immensely missed and never forgotten. "May the stars carry your sadness away, May the flowers fill your heart with beauty, May hope forever wipe away your tears, and, above all, May silence make you strong." Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Kevin George, and brother, Robert George. He is survived by his wife, Kyla George; children, Anjulia (Austin), Jody (Melissa), Joshua, Julian, Mario, and Christopher; grandchildren, Matthew, Mya, Armani, Ma'Leeyah, Josie, Foster, Landon, Braxton, Legacy, Alaia, and Murphy; godson, Trenise "Dude" Harris, fur-friend, Rosie; mother, Vickie George; brothers, Nick and Bruce; sisters, Kimberly (Prudencia), and Kristie (Johnny); nieces, Phoenix and Serenity; nephews, Jose, Mateo, Dakota, Gabriel, Johnathan, Jordan, Jaden, Jaxen and Robert; special family members, Robert, Duane, and Bryson; and many, many more members of the family who loved him dearly. Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 from 4 pm until 6 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow with Pastor Arlis Rapier Jr. officiating. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the George family.
