Kenneth Wayne Miller

Kenneth Wayne Miller II, 63, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Friday, March 17th, 2023.
Ken was born in Bristol, Tennessee in the year of 1959. He was a graduate of Tennessee High School class of 1977. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Army where he proudly served for over 30 years. Ken did three tours overseas earning several prestigious medals. He was very proud of his military career and honored to serve his country.
Ken was also an avid Trekkie (Star Trek Fan) and went to a great many Star Trek conventions. He was very creative and crafty. Many of the items he made to sell at the conventions won awards. In addition to his Star Trek collection, Ken also had a large sword collection.
He was a good Dad and a wonderful grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Ken is preceded by his parents, Kenneth Wayne Miller I and Anna Lou Miller.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Megan Tester and husband Mark; grandchildren, Ashlyn whom he nicknamed "AJ", Kynslie, and Jordan; brother, Rick Miller and wife Gail.
Graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery on March 27th, at 11:00 am with American Legion Hammonds Post 3 / Gate City 265 providing Military Honors.
