Kelly Seaver Smith

On December 18, 2022, Kelly Seaver Smith passed away peacefully at her home in Nickelsville, Virginia, at age 45, after a long battle with illness. It would be wrong to say that Kelly lost this battle, because she never stopped fighting.
Kelly was born September 28, 1977, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was a long-time resident of the Kingsport area and graduated from Sullivan North High School, Class of 1995. Kelly enjoyed clogging, traveling, and performing professionally throughout her early years. At the time of her passing, Kelly was a Residential Tech at Frontier Health. In this role, she touched many lives and found her true purpose of guiding others in need. Kelly was a free spirit and a compassionate friend. Her absence will be felt for years to come by all who loved her.
Kelly is survived by her parents, Richard and Blanda Seaver; her daughters, Lauren Hammond (Cody), and Makenna Smith; her grandchildren, Eli Hammond, Tenley Hammond, Teegan Hammond, and Bennett McCarty.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee.
