Kelcie Houseright

Kelcie Hubert Houseright Sr entered into rest Saturday November 14th 2020. He was born February 19th, 1937 in Scott County, Virginia. Kelcie was a Jehovah's Witness. He loved to witness to everyone he met and his family. He is awaiting the promised resurrection. Kelcie was a loving Husband and Father and he will be missed dearly by all of us. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Leonard Houseright and Mary Babb Houseright; sister Kathleen Rhoton and her husband Emmett Rhoton and their son Jimmy Lee Rhoton; brother Earl Houseright; loving mother-in-law Lois Babb; sisters-in-law Ima Jean Smith and husband Chester; Brother-in-laws Glenn Babb, Farrell Swanner; and grandson Joshua David Jones. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years Mary Ruth Houseright; son Kelcie Hubert Houseright Jr and wife Amanda; son Jeffery Glen Houseright; daughter Kathy Ann Jones and husband Greg; grandchildren Kelly Houseright, Brandon Eric Thomas and wife Ashley, Kenneth Brent Thomas and wife Meghan, Justin Houseright and wife Angela, Amber Jackson and husband David, Kierra Nicole Thomas, Deyton Allen Jones, Daylin Lynn Jones and Bella Ann Jones; great grandchildren Addison Houseright, Olivia Thomas and Aviana Thomas; brothers Berle Houseright and wife Nancy, Leonard Gerald Houseright and wife Linda; sister-in-laws Helen Jones and Husband Harold, Brenda Swanner, and Norma Houseright; brother-in-laws Jimmy Babb and wife Helen, Tommy Babb and wife Cheryl, Bennie Babb and wife Judy; and many nieces and nephews. We also want to thank the staff and nurses at Wexford House for all the love and care they give Kelcie for the past year. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
