Karen Blackburn Lowe

Karen Blackburn Lowe, 74, of Rogersville, TN, was called home on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Born in Scott County, Virginia, to Richard and Juanita Blackburn, Karen lived most of her life in Tennessee with several years spent in North Carolina. She was married to Ronnie Lowe for forty-one years and the couple had two children, Jenny and Curt. Karen was able to assist in rearing her oldest grandson, Logan, whom she was devoted to. She never knew a stranger, and those who knew her as "Grannie," loved her very much.

In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her husband; in-laws, Harry and Myrtle Lowe; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her children, Jenny Lowe-Herron and Michael Curtis Lowe; grandchildren, Logan Mallory, EmmaLeigh Lowe, Hannah Lowe, Wyatt Lowe, Briar Herron; sister, Janice Kent; nephews, Eric Kent, Danny Kent; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Karen's honor may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
