Justin Alan Thacker

Justin Alan Thacker, 45, of Wise, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Our hearts are broken, yet we have eternal gratitude to a loving and merciful God who Justin professed his faith and love for in the months prior to his passing.

Justin was born in the Kermit community of Scott County, VA where he was raised and lived most of his life.

Preceding Justin in death are his parents, Roy Kyle and Karen Thacker; his grandparents, Bazle and Ella Thacker and Wisely and Ursel Catron; and several special aunts and uncles.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Jackie Thacker and their children that he greatly loved: Chandler, Chasity, Sadie and Whitney; brother Brian Thacker and wife, Vivian; sister Amy Thacker and husband, Randy; along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 3:00p.m. at Shades of Grace, 313 E. Sullivan St, Kingsport TN 37660 with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Special music will be provided by Landon Bellamy.

The family is sincerely grateful for the love & care that everyone at Shades of Grace has shown the Thacker family.

A special thank you to his Aunt Susie and Uncle Junior Fuller and cousin Teresa Winegar for their daily prayers and love for Justin, and also to his Aunt Jean Wheelock for her encouragement and love for Justin.
