Judy Carolyn Edwards

Judy Carolyn Edwards, 67, passed away on Thursday, July 07, 2016. Judy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Kingsport in the early 90's to raise her children. She was big on life and she loved her kids. Judy was a caregiver, had a servants heart and enjoyed helping others. She taught her children how to be honest and hard working. Later in life, she spent her time enjoying spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchild. Her compassion for others was not limited to just people, she cared for animals, as well. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, friend to many and she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Fleming Hite, Jr. and grandmother, Ella Harless. She is survived by her mother, Janelle Collier; daughters, Lesley Masters and Sara Rimer; son, Paul Edwards and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Beth Rimer, Owen Taylor and Pamela Brooke; great grandchild, Gabriel Shanks; brothers, Ricky Hite and Danny Hite; and sisters, Katie Wilkins and Vicki Rogers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 09, 2016 from 1pm to 3pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3pm in the chapel.
