Judith O'Bryan, age 81, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023.
Judy was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1942. She was a graduate of East High School. Judy was a major Green Bay Packer's fan all her life. Her dad played in the Packer's band. She served in the U.S. Army after high school before starting a family. Judy became a machinist and worked for over 40 years in the Aerospace industry making parts for aircraft manufacturers.
Judy was a very strong-willed person. She fought breast cancer in 2009, and was diagnosed with MDS in 2021. Three months ago her MDS turned into Leukemia. Through it all she fought hard. She was very much loved, and she loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Hanford and Ruth Grace Lytie; brother, Alden Lytie and wife Janice.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Jodi Hutchison and husband Travis; son, Patrick O'Bryan; grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua and wife Victoria, Chelsea, Elizabeth and husband Brendon, Jaydon, and Elijah; great grandchildren, Knox (Joseph), Jaxon, Austin, Mason (Joshua), Dean, Isabella (Chelsea), Brendon Jr. (Elizabeth); nephews, David Lytie and wife Susan, Jon Lytie, Jeff Lytie and wife Leeann; and nieces, Susan Lytie-Schroeder, Mary Pierce and husband Donn.
A Life Celebration will be held at Southview Community Church 1235 Moreland Drive, Kingsport, Tennessee, on October 30th at 11 am. Interment at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors will be conducted that afternoon at 2 pm.
