Joyce Ann Mellons

Joyce Ann Mellons (Roberts), 76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Joyce was strong in her faith always giving God the glory from the mountaintops to the valleys. She loved the Lord with all her heart and put God first in all things. She was a devoted & loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She loved her family beyond measure. She loved flowers, crafts, attending church, reading her Bible every night and spending time with her family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Roberts and Monnie Lou Roberts (Falin); Brothers, Kenny Roberts, David Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Eddie Ray Roberts.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her children: Charles Mellons & wife Lori, Michelle Rhoton, Lloyd "Peanut" Mellons, Samantha Duncan & husband Bryan; Brothers: Charlie Roberts, Steve Roberts & wife Wilma; Sister: Clara Mullins; Sister in law: Shirley Roberts (Kenny); Her grandchildren: Shawn Mellons, Austin Mellons, Justin Rhoton, Christopher Tipton, Sierra Tipton, Jacob Hall; her great grandchildren: Keelan Mellons, Cyleigh Brooke Tipton, Kayden Dingus, and Kynnsley Tipton. She also had several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at State Line Baptist Church on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 4pm-5pm. A celebration of life service to follow at 5pm with Pastor Wayne Morelock and Pastor Kyle Falin officiating. Music provided by the family.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Holston Valley Medical Center for their kindness and care.
