Joshua Landon Sams

Joshua Landon Sams, age 39, of Kingsport, TN, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024.

A native of Kingsport, he was born on April 20, 1985, to Debra Culbertson and the late Michael Sams.

Josh enjoyed motocross in his younger years, playing his guitars, and riding motorcycles. He worked for several years in construction and as a Spray Booth Operator at HomeTech Industries. Above all, Josh loved his family and was loved by everyone who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Erika Sams; two cousins to whom he had guardianship over, Kylar Webb and Arayohna Maly; his loving sister, Brandi Newton and her husband, Josh; a special nephew, Taylor Newton; his mother, Debra Culbertson; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and multiple cousins.

A Celebration Gathering to honor Josh's life will take place from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Trinity Memorial Centers (423-723-8177) located at 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.

He is now free of pain, and no longer suffering. Josh rests in the arms of the angels that were waiting for him.
