Josephine "Jay" Guastella

Josephine (Jay) Guastella, 95, died peacefully on March 13th, 2021 at her family's home in Bristol, Tennessee. She was born on May 28,1925 in Connecticut. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1943. She graduated from and worked 19 1/2 years at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She lived a very active life, enjoyed volunteer work, and was a member of Saint Stephen's Catholic Church. She lived at the Hills of Monroe for 27 years, where she loved her condo community. Special thanks to her many friends there. Jay is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Guastella; and daughter, Carol Sabatelli. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Ketron and husband Howard of Bristol, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Ketron, Anna Ketron, Abigail Lester and husband Joe; and one great grandchild, Dexter Ketron. There will be a memorial service in Connecticut at a later date. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Guastella family.
