Joseph (Joe) Hunter Massengill passed away on November 20th, 2021 unexpectedly. Joseph was born in Kingsport, TN on January 12, 1994. He moved to Crossville in 2004 and graduated from high school in 2012 before returning to Kingsport. Joseph has always been a gifted person. He had a huge talent concerning fixing and creating things. In his youth, he was a tremendous athlete. The love and respect he showed to his family and friends will always be a treasured memory. One of Joe's greatest gifts was his ability to adapt to any situation life threw at him. He was a survivor and would not allow others to carry his burdens. Anyone who knew Joe knew he was special and brought great joy and adventure to the world. His authenticity and love will always be treasured always. Rest In Peace, precious guy. We all loved you big. He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Mya Faith; and mother, Lori Pippin Graham. He is survived by his daughter, Stormy Sky; father, Tom Massengill; Brother, Josh McMurray; Grandmother, Wanda McCullough; Aunts and Uncles, Belinda Brannon, Elizabeth Hite (Paul Carter), Angie (Tim) Spitler, Joe (Kara) Pippin; Cousins, Ethan (Leah) Spitler, Abby Spitler, Carter Pippin, Joshua Estep, Tommy Massengill, and Chance Byington; Several Nieces and nephews including Skylar Jade McMurray; Also many more special family members who loved him. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 4th at Trinity Memorial Centers from 2pm until 4pm.
