Jordan Dante' Ewing

Jordan Dante' Ewing, 25, of Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Dante' was born in Kingsport, TN on February 19, 1998. He was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, graduating in 2016. He played many sports when he was younger and maintained a huge love for basketball. Music was his passion. He was an old soul and was always listening to Old Skool music and was a fan of Tupac and Biggie. Dante' could make any song his own with his custom lyrics. For example, "I was raised in the trailer park, homie, I was raised on bread and bologna." He loved watching Boyz in the Hood, Rush Hour (all of them) and could quote them word for word. He was the life of the party, and he made everyone laugh, including his mother, whom he called 'Madre'. Dante' lit up any room with his beautiful smile. He had a huge heart and was very empathetic to others' hardships. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved his brindle pit, Diesel, but more than anything Dante' loved his little girl very much. He loved being a father, and she was the highlight of his life.

Dante' is preceded in death by; his maternal grandfather, Roger Golden, who greeted him with open arms in heaven; maternal aunt, April Sunshine Golden; paternal grandmother, Christine Johnson; and his special cousin, Janay Fain.

Left to cherish his memory; his daughter, Kailynn Aaliyah Ewing; the love of his life, Alexis Weatherly; his mom and dad; Rhonda and Tony Madison; his father; Richard and Tara Ewing; his sister and brother in law, Gabby and Brendan Nancarrow; his brother, D'angelo Ewing; stepsister, Caitlin Fulford; special uncle, Nathan Golden; his maternal grandmother, Robin Christian; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, acquaintances, and friends to numerous to name.



The family is finding comfort in Dante's acceptance of Christ at the young age of 10, in 2008. His visitation at Trinity Memorial Center will be Sunday, July 30th, 2023 from 2 pm until 3 pm, followed by a celebration of life from 3 pm until 4 pm.
