John Wessley Ellison "Wess"

John Wessley Ellison, "Wess" age 90 of Elizabethton, TN was born on May 10, 1930 and passed away on November 18, 2020. Wess was a faithful christian and sang in many gospel quartets throughout his life. He was also a proud veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa Ellison. He leaves behind his wife, Pauline Jett; 2 sons, Ricky Ellison and wife and Sam Ellison and wife; daughter, Cathy Davis and husband; several step-children; 7 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; 2 sisters, Grace Smith and Nellie Scott; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extended a special "Thank You" to The Cambridge House in Bristol for their loving care during Wess' final year. Wess' ashes will be interred at the Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date in 2020. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Ellison family.
