John Simpson Greenlee

John Simpson Greenlee II, 79, of Piney Flats, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

John grew up ion Cinton, Tennessee where he graduated. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force. Upon retirement, John returned to school and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He would earn his Bachelor's Degree and go to work for the railroads. John worked in many locations, most notably South Africa where he was a part of establishing the rail system there.

John's life and service will be honored at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee on Friday October 20th, 2023 at 1 pm.
