John Mitchel Trent

John Mitchel Trent, 61, born on April 21, 1955 in Hancock Co., TN and resided in Blountville, TN , went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rachel (Bethany) Trent; in-laws, Skip and Barb Ayers; brothers, Sam and Dan Trent; and sisters, Susie Wright and Janie Trent. He is survived by wife, Tamara Trent of 30 years; daughter, Marlena Milburn and husband, Derrick of Kingsport; sons, John Trent, Jr (lil John) of the home and Michael Trent of Kingsport; two grandchildren, Alex Ossavicki and Hannah Rogers; brothers, Pastor David Trent and wife, Margaret of Knoxville, TN, Steve Trent and wife, Mary of Blountville, TN and Reverend Joe Trent and wife, Ruth of Telford, TN; sisters, Amy Lockett and husband, Pastor Eric of Kingsport, TN and Heidi Emmert and husband, Jeffrey of Kingsport, TN; sisters in law, Jo Ann Trent Tomlinson and Diane Trent; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and niece, Faith Lockett. Services will be conducted by Reverend Dewey Shaffer at Calvary Baptist Freewill Baptist Church (365 Fortown Roadd, Kingsport, TN) at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Freedom Family Worship Center (2305 Stuart Drive, Kingsport, TN 37664) to Attention: John Trent Funeral Fund to help with expenses.
