John Kenneth Hitchcock, Sr.

John Kenneth Hitchcock, Sr., 71, of Piney Flats, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Atlanta, GA and he had resided in Piney Flats for the last 18 years. He was a christian and he loved playing the guitar and singing, computers and spending time with family. John worked at the TVA where he did computer work. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Grace Bates Hitchcock. John is survived by his wife, Shirley Hitchcock; daughter, Nora Hitchcock (Wisconsin); sons, John Hitchcock, Jr. and Henry Hitchcock (both of North Atlanta, GA); 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Per his wishes, he will be cremated and inured at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Trinity Memorial Centers (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the family of John Hitchcock, Sr.
