Jimmy Lee Spears

Jimmy Lee Spears, 58, passed away at his residence following a long battle with illness. He spent most of his life in the Long Island Community of Kingsport, before residing in Church Hill for the past twelve years. He was of the Baptist faith and truly loved the Lord, our savior. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jim and Audrey Spears, brothers; Jackie Spears, Danny Spears, and David Spears. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Spears of the home; daughter, Natosha and husband Lee Doty of the home; son, Judah and wife Stephanie Spears of Marion, Ohio; sisters, Wilma Dykes of Hawkins County, Phyllis and husband Joe Mims of Kingsport, and Nancy Akers of Kingsport; one granddaughter, Lindsey Marie Doty whom was the light of his life; special nephew Michael Spears; and a great host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday (July 27) from 3 to 5 p.m at Trinity Memorial with funeral services to follow with Pastor Will Shewey officiating.
