Jeff was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Indiana. After graduating from Madison Heights High School in Anderson, IN he moved to Bourbonnais, IL and attended Olivet Nazarene University where he met Anemone while singing in Orpheus Choir. Jeff also sang in Concert Singers. He was the first freshman to ever sing in Concert Singers. After a short courtship they married on January 24,1976. Jeff worked at Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America in Herscher, IL for 22 years. They moved to Rogersville, TN in October 1999.

During their years together, Jeff enjoyed singing for his family and friends weddings and in special events, including the Liberty Celebration in Kingsport, TN. Jeff raised Nubian Dairy Goats and enjoyed showing them all over the country. In 1996 he showed the Best Uddered Nubian at the National Dairy Goat Show in Springfield, IL.

Jeff came to know and believe in Jesus Christ early 2009. As his walk and prayer life with Christ grew, his desire for others to come and know the Lord greatly increased. Jeff faithfully attended the Southview Community Church of the Nazarene in Kingsport, TN.
