Jerry Lewis Spicer, 64, of Afton, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Jerry finished high school and became a proud member of the US Army. While serving in the Army, Jerry made training films for the military. This experience led to a career as a stuntman and actor in the entertainment industry with roles in Star Trek the Next Generation TV series, Twister, Baby Face Nelson, and many others. A consummate storyteller, he lived a life full of fascinating experiences and world travel.
Jerry is preceded in death by his grandmother (Ga Ga) Florence Spicer, grandparents, Alma and Fay Dill; father, Jerry Lewis Spicer, Sr.; Uncle Quillard and Aunt Elinor Baker.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carolyn and Michael Donley of Stanton, CA; sisters, Michelle DeMers and husband, Dan, of Wichita Falls, TX and Kimberly Spicer of Stanton, CA; nieces, Mikayla DeMers of Anchorage, AK and MaKenna DeMers, of London, England; nephews, Daniel DeMers of Kempner, TX and Dillon DeMers and wife, Hilary, of Shalimar, FL, along with their children, Cooper and Poppy; several aunts and cousins, and many dear friends and colleagues from around the world.
Jerry will be interred at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Veterans Way, Johnson City, TN. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 3/265 and Virginia Army National Guard. Those attending the ceremony are asked to arrive at the cemetery no later than 1:50 PM.
