Jerry Lynn Hammonds, of Kingsport, Tn went home to be with Jesus on October 12, 2024.

He was born on February 4, 1958 to the late Reverend Garland and Helen Hammonds. Jerry was a minister who loved to sing and play guitar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years Lea Ferrell Hammonds; sisters, Sherry Meade, Vickey Hammonds; brothers, Rickey and Mickey Hammonds.

He is survived by his children, Nick, Chris, Ben, Parker, Andrew and Brittany; several grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. John Collins "Donna", Mrs. Craig McCoy "Crystal"; brother, Ronald Hammonds; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be at Vermont United Methodist Church on Monday, October 21st, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow with Dr. Randy B. Robbins officiating.
