Jerry Wayne Cavin, 62, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Jerry was known for his boundless kindness and selfless generosity, touching the lives of everyone he met. His laughter was contagious, and he had a remarkable way of making any gathering brighter. A lover of travel, he especially cherished his trips to Key West with his beloved Pandy. Jerry found joy in simple pleasures, like floating down the river with friends, having a lake day on the boat with friends and family, hunting for deals at flea markets with his close friend Leonard Ball, or spending quiet days with his family.

He was a true fan of the UT Vols and the Las Vegas Raiders, and he loved his Ford Broncos and Harley Davidsons. As a member of the King's Sport Axe House Axe League, Jerry brought his spirit and camaraderie to each gathering. He had a passion for cooking, grilling, and smoking meats, and was celebrated as the best cook by friends and family. Whether cooking up a feast, cheering on his teams, or making his grandchildren laugh, Jerry embodied joy and love in every moment. He especially treasured adventures with his grandchildren, who adored him.

Professionally, Jerry dedicated over 30 years to Eastman Chemical Company and was the proud owner of C&C Pools. His hard work and dedication were respected by many, and he created countless friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Paul and Dorothy (Ruth) Cavin.

He is survived by Pandy Elkins, the love of his life for 20 years; his daughters, Brittany Anderson (Eric) and Bailee Harlan (Matthew); Pandy's children, Jacob Elkins (Whitney) and Madison Phipps (Nathan); his cherished grandchildren, Adalyn and Henry Anderson; his sister, Shelby Cavin; his brother, Jim Cavin (Jeanne); and countless close friends who were as dear to him as family.
