Jerrod Warren Pritchard, 46, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord with his wife and stepdaughters by his side, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Jerrod was an avid truck driver, dedicating his career to WCP Transportation. He had a passion for the open road, but his true joy was in life's simple pleasures-riding motorcycles, tending to his garden, and spending time outdoors. He loved seafood boils, grilling, and creating cherished memories with his family.
One of Jerrod's greatest dreams was to move to Florida and spend his days by the beach, a place that brought him peace and happiness. He treasured vacations with his wife and found joy in every adventure they shared. With a heart full of laughter, Jerrod had a special gift for turning frowns into smiles, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
He is preceded by his pateral grandparents, Charles and Bonnie Pritchard; and his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Myrtle Sluss.
Those left to cherish Jerrod's memory are his loving wife of 5 years, Kelly; his children, Madison Zimmerman, Mackenzie Zimmerman, Jason Zimmerman II, Mack Schott, and Briana Pritchard; his father, Warren Pritchard; his mother, Linda Sluss Pritchard, his stepmothers, Elina Pritchard and Rita Sutton Pritchard; his siblings, Whitney Pritchard and Violet Gromova; his beloved fur babies, Gator, Luna, Mea, and Rocky; his special trucking buddy, Bobby Shepherd; his special beloved friend, Tommy Malone; and several other special trucking friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be on Saturday, March 15th, 2025. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a service to follow. Pastor James H. Ginley will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request a donation be made to City of Hope in Atlanta, Georgia for cancer fighters.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Gentiva Hospice and the nurses and staff at City of Hope.
