Jeffrey Lynn Hagy

Jeffrey Lynn Hagy, 59, fell asleep in the arms of his Lord and Savior, at his home, Thursday morning April 16, 2020. He was born on February 7,1961 while the family was living in the state of Indiana. He resided in Kingsport all of his life. Jeff was a born again Christian, loving father, dedicated caregiver, beloved brother, uncle, and neighbor. Outside of his family, Jeff lead a solitary life; however, he had a very inquisitive mind, always searching for truths from the Bible. He asked lots of questions and pondered many thoughts. These, he shared with those closest to him. Jeff enjoyed listening to SonLife Broadcast Network; especially, Jimmy & Donnie Swaggart. He enjoyed the preached word and Bible teaching. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jonathan Hagy, his daughter, Heather Hagy, a brother James O.Hagy (Penny) and a sister Gail Hagy Newland ( Mike), Uncle Bobby & Aunt Jessie Dezarn, plus many nephews, neices and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his childhood friend, Donald Coeburn and his fellow congregants at Evangel Family Worship Center. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James C. Hagy & Nealy B. Roberts Hagy, brother, J.D. Hagy, sisters, Patricia Hagy Sells and Rebecca Hagy House & very special Aunt Mary Feagins. Please join our Celebration of Life Service via Facebook live stream which will be conducted by his brother & Pastor James O. Hagy on Tuesday, April 21st at 1:30pm.
