Jaylena Gross McCracken

Jaylena Gross McCracken, 70, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at home with her daughter, Mary Whitaker.

She lived all her life in Bristol, Tennessee. She worked many years at Bristol Jeans Factory. She enjoyed life, going to the beach, and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being outside.

Jay is preceded in death by her husband, James McCracken; her daughter, Tracy McCracken; her father, John (JW) Gross; her mother, Maxine Estep; and her brother, James Gross.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Whitaker & husband, Norris Whitaker; her son, Scotty McCracken & fiance, Bailey Denton; her daughter, Tina McMurray; several grandchildren, Norrisa Whitaker, Norris Whitaker II (her sweet little angel), Bryson McCracken, and more; her sister, Mae Gillenwater; her brother, John Gross & wife, Chris; and several nieces and nephews.

She loved her kids and grandkids very much. She lived with her daughter, Mary Whitaker who was also her caregiver.
