Jason Jeremiah Coates, 34, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018. Jason was born in Houston, Texas and spent most of his life in Fall Branch, TN. He was a 2003 graduate of Daniel Boone High School where he spent 4 years in the ROTC program.
He was well loved with many friends and had a big heart. He loved his country and served as a Marine doing 3 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq from 2003 – 2007.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Jean Coates; grandmother, Anna Lee Kolarsky; uncle, George Coates Sr.
He is survived by his brother, George and his wife Jessica Coates; nephews, Geordyn, Houston; niece, Emilynn; uncles, Mark Kolarsky and his wife Lori, Steve Kolarsky; aunts, Donna Byington and husband Fred, Peggy Welsh and husband Ron, Dee Dee Booher and husband Anthony; several special cousins and close friends.
Military services will be private. Pallbearers will be Joshua Blevins, Roy Clark, Michael Connally, Jared Dawson, Johnny Ledbetter, and Caleb Quillen.
