Janice Margarett Williams

Janice Margarett Williams, 56, went to be with the Lord on Monday (September 21, 2014). She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother and wife that enjoyed caring for others as much as her own family. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of everyone that came in contact with her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Della Thorpe; five brothers, Harold, Vernon, Grady, Ricky, and Ray Thorpe. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ricky Williams of Duffield, Va.; son, Joseph Williams and girlfriend, Allie Bowser of Kingsport, Tn.; daughter, Danielle Williams of Kingsport, Tn.; two brothers, Cecil Thorpe, and Billy and wife Shirley Thorpe of Kingsport, Tn.; two sisters Sue Roberts and Regina Ramey of Kingsport, Tn; close friend, Jerry McCracken, of Kingsport, Tn. A memorial service will be conducted Monday (September 29, 2014) from 5 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. with Reverend Joe Roberts officiating.
