Janet Raye Horton

Janet Raye Horton, 60, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Janet was born November 24th, 1959 to the late James L Swafford and Nellie D. Robinson. She resided in Harriman Tn for 10 years before returning back to Kingsport, where she spent the remaining years. She was a member of Mt Zion Tabernacle Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband, Micheal Horton; brother, Xavier T Hall; and sister, Kathy Carpenter. She is survived by three daughters, Tonya Horton, LaMonica "Kai" Bell, and Quejuana Horton; son of her late husband, Mark Harold; brothers, Donavon Hall and Edward Bridgeman; one sister, Jacqueline Bridgeman; sister in law, Patricia Horton; eleven grandchildren, special to her are Kaia and Kayvon; seven nieces, special to her were Rena, Anissa, and Jennifer; three nephews; six great nephews; and three great nieces; a host of family and friends; an extra special friend Isaaic Daniels. Thanks for your love and care you gave mom during her journey. We will be forever grateful for you and now starts the journey with us! We Love You . There will be a Celebration of Janet Raye Horton held at Mt Zion Church in Kingsport from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday, July 11 2020.
