Janet Marie Thomas went to her Heavenly Home on December 18th, 2020. Janet Marie Thomas was born on March 1, 1955 to the late Willie Frank Lewis and Willie Mae Felnoy-Lewis. Janet was one of the most loving, sweetest and kindest people that a person could meet. She never met a stranger and was loved by so many. She often referenced people by the names "sweetie," "baby" or "child" The love that she had for people resonated with them as so many adored her and fell in love with her warm spirit and gentle heart. Affectionately known as Nana, Momma J, Granny and AB, Janet was the matriarch of her family and was the glue to keeping everyone straight. A strong, independent woman who mothered and raised 7 children never missed a beat, and was the true definition of perseverance. She loved to cook and sing and take care of her family. She treasured family over everything and never let them forget how much she loved and treasured each one of them. She was a lifelong member of Mount Zion Tabernacle Holiness Church. Over the years, she served as an Usher, choir director and assistant secretary. She loved the songs "Real" and "This World is not my Home" Janet loved God and had a personal relationship with him.
