Jamey Woods

Jamey Elbert Woods, age 49, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away February 16th, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Jamey had a passion for fishing and racing with his dad and brothers.

Jamey is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert(Rob) and Debra Woods; brother, Brad Woods; son, Eric Woods; great-nephew, Bradley Perkey; grandfather, Glenn Everhart; uncles, Glen and Jackie Everhart; and cousin, Brian Woods.

Survivors include: two children, Kyndall and Owen Woods; brother, Robbie Woods; sister, Amy Smith and husband Kevin; grandmother, Ruth Everhart; fiancee, Stephanie Friis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Holston Valley Medical Center and an extra special thanks to Dr. Birch, the ICU nurses, and especially nurse Jake for his compassion and kindness.

Services will be private.
