James Robert "Jimmy" Fundis

James Robert (Jimmy) Fundis, age 43, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was in management at Waffle House. He is survived by his wife, Megan Fundis (Texas); sons, William Fundis and James Fundis (Weatherford, TX); daughter, Addison Fundis Weatherford, TX); parents, Bill and Angel Fundis (Kingsport, TN); sisters, Christi Franklin (Kingsport, TN), Ruthie Rich (Arizona), Major Dr. Debbie Angeles, PHD, NP (New Jersey), Sarah Fundis (Texas), and Rachel Fundis (Kingsport, TN); brothers, Jack Fundis (Texas) and Captain William J. Fundis, presently serving in Korea; and several aunts and numerous cousins. For the last 10 months, right out of Texas hospitals, Jimmy came to live with his parents and sisters, Christine and Rachel in Kingsport, TN. We will always have Jimmy with us. His smile, his humor and his animated life encouraged us all. He is with God. He chose wisely and he is happy. Let us rejoice with him for he is home. Amen.
