James Moore

“Coach” James Linwood Moore Jr., 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020. Coach Moore was a well like and loved coach at Gate City many years ago. He also was a well respected and wonderful history teacher. He proudly served in the US Navy when the call came he answered and served his country well. Military honors will be held Tuesday February 25th at Mountain Home VA Cemetery at 2:00 pm by American Legion Hammonds Post 3 and Gate City 265. Those wishing to attend are welcome to meet at Trinity at 1:00pm to go in procession or meet at the cemetery 1:45pm. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Moore family.
