James Marvin Hall, affectionately known as "Lil'' Bub passed away on October 30, 2024, in Kingsport Tennessee. Born on November 21, 1989, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, James was an esteemed carpenter who proudly ran his own business, where he honed his passion and dedication for his craft. He loved working with his hands, creating beautiful pieces that reflected not only his skill but also the love he poured into every project.
James was a man of courage, heart, and determination-the traits of a soldier. He was a badass through and through, with a heart of gold that radiated love for his family and those close to him. He cherished spending time with his children, family, friends, and longtime girlfriend, Brandy Carter. James also had a profound love for music, often sharing his passion through melodies and rhythms that brought joy to those around him.
The legacy of James Marvin Hall is carried on by his surviving family members, including his father, James Hall; his siblings: Misty Bentley, William Frazier, and Sheena Bentley; his sister-in-law, Ashley Elliott; and his cherished children: Jordan Hall, Even Hall, Aaleah Hall, Payton Hall, James Jr. Hall, Kuyona Miller, Destiny Stallard, and Blakely; step-daughter, Allie Ramey; Additionally, James is remembered lovingly by his nieces, Sierra Puckett, Chyann Bentley, and Violent, as well as his nephews, Jackson Bentley, Trystan Elliott, and Blake Elliott.
James was predeceased by his loving mother, Rhonda Hall, who was a continuous source of support and encouragement throughout his life, and his grandmothers, Trina Peaks and Nancy Tackett. His spirit will forever be alive in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
