James Gregg

James Edward "Sam" Gregg, 52, of Blountville, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 03, 2016. He fought a long hard battle with throat cancer. He loved to fish and hunt. He worked at AFG, then Four County paving and Sleep Inn Hotel. He loved his birds and animals. He was a loving father, husband, son, and brother and he was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Betsy, of 25 years and of the home; three sons, Brock and wife, Candyce, Blake and wife, Amy, and Joshua; parents, James and Pauline Gregg of Blountville, TN; three sisters, Nikki of Michigan, Revonda and husband, Dennis Taylor and Beverly and husband, Roy Fleenor; brother, Bob and wife, Kay Browder; grandchildren, McKayla, Aleigha, Preston, and Chloe; and his little dog, Molly. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 05, 2016 at Gunnings Cemetery at noon. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
