James Franklin Simpson Iii

James Franklin Simpson III, 64, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Charleston, WV and has been in this area for the last 22 years. He worked at Fayetteville Mine Company in Fayetteville, WV. He enjoyed picking the banjo, hunting, fishing and he loved his family very much. James is preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Simpson II and Margie Simpson; and several aunts and uncles. James is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Simpson; daughters, Sammie Simpson, of Gordonsville, TN and Laura Simpson, of Kingsport, TN; son, James Franklin Simpson IV, of Bristol, VA; brother, Joe Simpson and wife, Debbie, of Summersville, WV; niece, Sara Simpson and her daughter, Eliza Simpson; and nephew, Duane Simpson and wife, Katie, and their son, Frankie Simpson. At this time, there will not be a service. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the Simpson family.
