James Edwin "Ed" Sanders

James Edwin "Ed" Sanders, 60, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home. Edwin graduated from Gate City High School. After graduation, he started his life long career as a master carpenter until he retired because of his declining health. He loved the outdoors and his two favorite things were fishing and hunting. Edwin is preceded in death by his dad, Glen E Sanders. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Donna Sanders; stepchildren, April Overbay Davis and husband Damone, and Dustin Overbay; stepmom, Helen J. Sanders; sisters, Sherry Oaks and husband Mike, Beth Blair and husband Gary, and Tammy Ervin and husband Huey; brothers, Patrick Sanders, Jeffery Falin, Perry Sanders, and Brian Hixson and wife; mother and stepfather, Freda and Paul Isley; 2 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly.
