James Edward “Peanut” Hutson

James Edward "Peanut" Hutson, 54, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Hutson was born February 11, 1960. He was the son of Gertrude Hutson and the late Worley Melvin Hutson Sr. He was raised in the Mt. Carmel, TN area, but later moved to Kingsport. In addition to his father, Mr. Hutson is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Faye Puckett; and a special niece, Vikki Lynn McDavid. Survivors of James Edward Hutson include his wife, Dorothy Richmond Hutson; his mother, Gertrude Hutson; children, Nikki Cassidy, Jaime Soper, Andrew Hutson, Jay (JJ) Hutson; stepson, David Richmond; grandchildren, Preston Cassidy, Jayden Cassidy, Abrahm Soper, Brayden Richmond, and Kaleen Richmond; brother, Worley Hutson Jr.; sisters, Barbara Conner, Carolyn Dunn, Ellen Hutson, Mary Vanover, and Shirley Grunforad. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Trinity Memorial Centers (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660). A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help cover expenses.
