James Bradley Halderman, Jr.

April 15, 1943 — August 18, 2021

James "Jim" Bradley Halderman Jr., 78, of Fall Branch, TN, was born on April 15, 1943 and passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Jim lived in many places and had many interesting jobs, including service in the Air Force, before he settled down in Antioch, California with his wife of 40 years, Sue. His children and step-children, Todd Fehrmann, Jody Dye (Mickey), Mark Phillips (Rachelle) and Dave Phillips (Christy) were a source of pride and joy in his life. Jim bragged about his seven grandchildren; Chelsae Harris (Bucky), Bailee Dye (Ryan Sanders), Mattison Sims (Casey), Hunter Phillips, Aaron & Ryan Fehrmann and Piper Phillips; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Harris. He loved sharing stories, photos and videos of them any chance he had. He loved cars, and he loved NASCAR. He also loved animals; throughout his life he almost always had a pet cat. Jim enjoyed traveling & camping throughout the United States. He followed his best friend and cousin, Tom Fluke to the state of Tennessee in the 1970's where he recently retired to. Jim also leaves behind many friends, cousins and a sister whose name he chose when he was just seven years old, Judy Sue. He will always be remembered as a social pillar of his family and friends. Jim's ashes will be inurned at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family
