James Allen Sexton

James Allen Sexton, 69, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Wise, VA, he had been a resident of Kingsport all of his life, where he retired from Alley Chrysler as a detailer after 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and he loved the outdoors and his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Randolph Holbrook and Elizabeth Sexton; brothers, Roger Sexton and Cecil Sexton; sister, Joyce Cavin and baby sister, Patricia Sexton. James is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lois Sexton; daughters, Crystal Sexton, Velvet Sexton, April Owens and Nakeisha Sexton; son, Allen Sexton; sisters, Nancy Pendergrass, Linda Hall, Judy McCoy and Cathy Sexton; brother, Harold Sexton; grandchildren, Cheyanne Sexton, Crystal Westmoreland, Mitchell Joshua, James Richardson Sammi Richardson, Sara Richardson,Hailey Richardson, William Richardson; Several Nieces and nephews and a host of Friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service is to follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Graveside will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gardner's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Richardson, Duane Holmes, Darrell McClain, Ralph Hughes, Ray Hughes and Allen Sexton.
