Jackie Lynn Gissendanner

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband of 20 years, Jackie Lynn Gissendanner. He left us on May 19th, 2024 at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments.

Jackie always made sure his family wanted for nothing and cherished every moment shared with his loved ones. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved to fish.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, James Malcom Gissendanner and Elizabeth Gissendanner; and his three brothers, Jerry, Mike, and Ricky Gissendanner.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Patricia Gissendanner; his daughter, Tomorrow (Alan) Smith; his stepson, Ken Ragsdale; his stepdaughter, Brandy (Joe) Cassady; his stepson, Aaron (Christine) Terry; his grandchildren, Alexia Gissendanner, Madison (Jonathon) Gilbert, Gracie Smith, Mathew Ragsdale, Kenley Ragsdale, Benton Ragsdale, McKaylen (Matt) Pierce, Aly Cassady, Victoria Terry, and Sam Adkins; his great grandchildren, Leilani and Loyal Gissendanner; and a whole host of friends and family.

Jackie loved each member of his family.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at later date

The family would like to thank his medical team, Elizabeth Smith (NP), and Gentiva Hospice.
