Ida Mae Adair

Ida Mae Adair, 74, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Born in Vilas, North Carolina, Ida grew up in Johnson City, TN. Ida married Charles A. Nichols, Sr. and the couple had five children, Ella Mae, Martha Ann, Charles Alfred, Sandra Kay, and Annette Kim. Ida always loved animals, especially her dogs, Chipper and Lola, and her cat, Big Momma.
Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Nichols, Sr.; daughter, Martha Ann Benson; granddaughter, Kayla Griffin.
Ida is survived by her daughters, Ella Hutchison (George), Sandra Nichols, Kim Walsh (Ron); son, Charles "Chuck" Nichols (Helen); sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Caffrey; multiple nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Community Baptist Church, 1505 Broad Street, Bristol, Tennessee. Pastor Todd Crusenberry will be officiating.
