Henry Scottie Hall, 54, of Dungannon, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Scottie was known for his kind-hearted nature, always willing to give "the shirt off his back" to those in need. He was a hardworking individual who took pride in everything he did, whether it was tending to his garden as a botanical enthusiast, mowing the yard with care, or embarking on leisurely drives.
A one-of-a-kind individual, Scottie's smile was one in a million, lighting up every room he entered. He had a unique way of expressing himself, often talking with his hands when excited, and his laughter was like no other, bringing joy to all who heard it.
Scottie adored his family and cherished his children deeply. He was known as "Uncle Scottie" to many kids in the neighborhood, treating them as if they were his own and bringing laughter and happiness into their lives.
With his hilarious sense of humor and his genuine love for others, Scottie touched the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the memories of those who were blessed to have known him.
Scottie is preceded in death by, his parents, Henry Monroe Hall and Nellie Quillen; his brothers, Bill Kern, Jerry Kern, and Tony Hall; his sister-in-law, Kris Kern; his aunt, Freddie Honeycutt; and his niece, Tammy Kern.

He is survived by his long term life partner, Delores "Cotton" Ford; his children, Destiny (James) Hall, Zackery (Savannah) Hall, Blake (Courtney) Hall, Bell (Hunter) Hall, and Allen (Heather) Weddle; his grandchildren, Trevin Hall, Finlee Hall, Mazelee Page, Xander Begley, Xavier Begley, Madison Ford, Ashton Ford, Kyler Ford, Danica Ford, Avery Ford, Seven Ford, Braylon Ford, Kylie Weddle, and Rylie Weddle; his brothers and sisters, Jeff (Heather) Hall, Charles Honey Kern, Patricia Cole, Charles "Peanut" (Connie) Ramsey, Eugene Ramsey; his special nieces, Nikki Kern and Leann Davis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

A Memorial Service is scheduled Thursday, March 21st, from 4-6pm with services to follow, at First Baptist Church in Dungannon, Virginia. The family requests that flowers be sent to the church.
