Helen Kinsler

Helen Kinsler, 69, of Gray, TN gained her angel wings on Monday, March 30th, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Helen was a Loving Wife, Mother, Sister- in law and Friend to those that knew her. Prior to her becoming ill, Helen worked for several years at Wellmont Health System as an administrative assistant. Helen was also an excellent cake baker and cookie maker. Those who were privileged to have eaten one of her cakes or received her famous sugar cookies at Christmas, were truly the lucky ones. Helen was preceded in death by her Father and Mother; Paull and Dorothy Gettier. Survivors include her loving husband, devoted caretaker and best friend of fourteen years, Garry Kinsler; Son, Ryan Sands; Daughter, Kandy Kinsler; Grandchildren, Kaylea Kinsler and Ella Duffer; Great Grandson Bryce Kinsler; Brother Keith Gettier; Brothers-in-Law, Danny Kinsler, Randy Kinsler and wife Donna, and Sister-In- Law Karen Mullins and husband Nathan: Several nieces and nephews. A special Thank you to Faye McMurray and Cindy Shull. You were a godsend to the family and to Helen. We could not have fought this battle without you. And also to the Hospice nurses, Krista, Vanessa and Myra, thank you for your concern and care of Helen. Due to the current restrictions with the COVID-19, a service will not be held at this time.
