Helen Teresa Boatright, 66, of Chuckey, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Helen was a vibrant and feisty soul, known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She never sought recognition for her good deeds, always putting others before herself. Her caring heart touched many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Boatright; her parents, Joseph Hardy Nelson and Georgie Evadna Nelson; and her brothers, Dean Nelson and Patrick Nelson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stacy Silvers Ellenburg; her brothers, Alan Nelson and Spence Nelson; and her sister, Donna Patton. Helen also held a special place in her heart for her aunts Betty Lou Tipton, Joy Adams, and Katie Davis, as well as her niece, Collettea Nelson, and nephew, CJ Patton.

Per Helen's wishes, no formal service will be held. Her ashes will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Leonard Boatright.

Her spirit of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
