Hayes Clyde Bledsoe

Hayes Clyde "Junior" Bledsoe Jr., 69, a 30 year resident of Hiltons, VA, passed away on Friday, December 15th, 2023.
Junior's life was a testament to the enduring spirit captured in 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." He held a deep passion for farming, he especially loved his tractors. Junior was known for his outgoing personality, unwavering honesty, and a mischievous spirit that delighted in pulling pranks. Junior was a true Ford enthusiast, he was also a skilled welder and machinist working at several local shops.
Junior is reunited in the afterlife with his parents, H.C. and Lois Ann Bledsoe, his brother Virgil Bledsoe, and his sister Dorothy Hensley.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Joyce. Junior's legacy lives on through his sons, Brian Bledsoe and his wife Elizabeth Pedrick, and David Bledsoe; as well as his adoring grandchildren, Anthony Bledsoe, Zachary Bledsoe, Kaidence Bledsoe, Jon Carberry, and Hagan Bledsoe; great-grandchild, Houston; his brother, Randall Bledsoe and his wife Emma; as well as his sisters, Dorinda Rhoton and her husband Bill, and Donna Tipton; A special place in his heart was held by his beloved niece, Amanda Crawford.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 20th, at Trinity Memorial from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, with a service to follow, led by Pastor Larry Tolley. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will be held at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
