Harold Rex Fulkerson

January 23, 1943 — November 24, 2014

Harold Rex Fulkerson, 71, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday (November 24, 2014). He enjoyed spending his time fishing, watching television, and playing with his chihuahuas Pinkie, Bubbie, and Tiger. Rex was a lifelong resident of the Fall Branch community whom served as the Group Leader and Relief Team Leader in the Finishing Department up until the time of his retirement in late September. He was dedicated employee who worked to support our Warfighters for 52 years at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. His legacy will always be remembered. He was preceded in death by his father, Niles Fulkerson; and brother, Fred Fulkerson. Surviving is his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda Fulkerson of the residence; mother, Polly Fulkerson, of Petersburg, Va.; five sisters Sandra Barber, Sandra Hutchins both of Fayetteville, NC., Cathy Barber, Barbara and husband Greg Meredith, and Tammy of Petersburg, Va.; special uncle, Ralph Fulkerson of Jonesborough, Tn.; special aunt, Alice Booher of Fall Branch; special mother-in-law, Wanda Moody of Fall Branch; and special friends, Jimmy and Peggy Jones of Fall Branch. Due to a voice-mail the wife has received from Greg Meredith, services will be held at a later time per families request.
