Guenther H. Krupp, 94, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
He was born in Brohl, Germany in 1930 to the late Josef & Guestel Krupp of Germany. Guenther was a chef for over 65 years. He prepared meals for many famous people, including Ronald Regan, Elvis Presley, and Martin Luther King.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Krupp; his brother, Rhiner Krupp; and his great-grandson, Joseph Glen Sullivan.
Those left to cherish Guenther's memory are his sons, Ronnie Krupp (Sherry) of Chattanooga, and Joe Krupp (Ginger) of Kingsport; his daughter, Cindy Ergstron of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Kiri Hughes (Lamar) of Chattanooga, Bobby Krupp (Shonna) of Texas, Melissa Vanderslice (John) of Texas; 9 great-grandchildren; his best buddy and great-grandson, Ayden Miller, who played piano for him and learned to sing German Christmas carols together, and his brother, Uli Krupp (Hannelore).
A memorial service to honor Guenther will be on Monday, April 7th, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee 37660. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Tennessee.
