Gloria Jean Anderson, 61, died Sunday, November 11, 2017 from complications related to her illness. In hospice care for seven months prior to her death, Gloria died with her daughter by her bedside peacefully in her sleep.
She leaves her daughter, Michelle Lambert and husband Kenny; son Esau Anderson and wife Vicki and son Matthew Anderson and wife Rachel and son Daniel Anderson, 12 grandchildren Haley Riner and husband Steven Riner, Elijah Lambert and Fiance’ Brianna Bell, Autumn Lahr, Matthew Worley and wife Brittany, Traine Lahr and Fiance’Amber, Gage Lahr and Fiance’ Anja, Adrianna Anderson, Blake Anderson, Hannah Foran, Kegan Anderson, Bryson Anderson, Rylee Anderson, and 4 great-grandchildren, Finley Riner, Oakland Lahr, Addie Worley, Hayden Worley. Lifelong Special Friend, Carolyn Offield of Bristol, TN.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Keith in 2009, one son, David Harless, in 2008, who died at the age of 32.
She was a lifelong resident of Bristol, TN.She was a loving mother of Christian faith. She was well known for her resilience, generosity and gratitude.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Chapel at Trinity Memorial Centers of Kingsport, TN with Mr. Roy Messer officiating. A eulogy will be provided by her granddaughter Autumn Lahr. Music provided by Stephen Riner. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with service to follow. Graveside service will be conducted at the Shipley Cemetery in Bristol, TN on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
